Program 11 days – 10 nights
DAY ONE: ROME
Arrival in Rome
Meet your local Tour Manager, transfer and load the coaches.
Transfer and check in to your hotel. Free time to settle into your rooms.
Welcome Dinner in Rome to start your Italy performance tour. After dinner, enjoy a private group rehearsal. Afterwards, the rest of the evening is free.
DAY TWO: ROME
Breakfast at the hotel.
Enjoy a guided tour of Ancient Rome, including the Roman Forum and the Colosseum. Go back in time walking through about the ruins of ancient Rome which began in the early VIII century BC and ended with the collapse of the empire in the V century AD.
Free time for lunch.
After lunch group rehearsal at a local venue. Afterwards, enjoy some free time and dinner before meeting again for performance in San Ignazio Church in conjunction with a local choir.
Return to the hotel.
DAY THREE: ROME
Breakfast at the hotel.
Today you will enjoy a guided tour of the Vatican. Visit the Vatican Museums including the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. Situated on the west bank of the Tiber River, Vatican City, the seat of the Roman Catholic Church, is the world’s smallest fully independent nation-state.
Lunch and free time on your own to explore the area.
Afternoon mass Performance at St. Peter’s Basilica
Return to the hotel. Dinner on your own evening is at leisure.
DAY FOUR: ROME → FLORENCE
Breakfast at the hotel.
It’s time to go further and discover new amazing destinations of Italy. Travel to Florence by coach. On the way, stop and visit Orvieto , a charming medieval town hilltop town famous for its outstanding Cathedral.
Lunch on your own in Orvieto.
After lunch, prepare for a Performance in the Orvieto Cathedral.
After performance continue on to Florence. Before reaching Florence we can’t miss a stop in local Chianti winery for a special wine tasting and dinner.
Arrive into Florence and check in to your hotel.
DAY FIVE: FLORENCE
Breakfast at the hotel.
Meet your local guide for a a guided walking tour of Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance, follow the River Arno to the Uffizi Gallery and Piazza signoria, an open air museums.
See the iconic Brunelleschi’s dome, the Cathedral, Galleria dell’Accademia to admire Michelangelo’s “David”
Free time for lunch.
The rest of the day is free to enjoy Florence on your own. Dinner on your own.
Return to the hotel and retire for the evening.
DAY SIX: FLORENCE / SIENA
Breakfast at the hotel.
Depart for Siena (~1.5 – 2-hour drive). Upon arrival, meet a local guided for an enchanting walking tour of Siena. Built on three hills and surrounded by well- preserved walls, Siena is filled with fine examples of Gothic architecture and is home to one of the world’s most unique piazza del Campo. Lunch and free time on your own in Siena. Return to Florence late in the afternoon. Rehearsal/sound check at this evening’s performance venue.
Dinner on your own.
After dinner enjoy a performance at the Ognissanti Church in conjunction with a local choir). After your performance, return to the hotel.
DAY SEVEN: FLORENCE
Morning Breakfast at the hotel.
This day you are free to explore the city and the surrounding area through optional sightseeing trips you might explore the Italian gems of Pisa and Lucca or reach the beautiful hilltop town of San Gimignano. Travel to Cinque Terre on the rugged Italian Riviera coastline or visit the Ufficizi Gallery and soak in centuries of great art paintings
DAY EIGHT: FLORENCE → VERONA
Breakfast at the hotel.
Begin your journey to Verona. On the way, visit Bologna where you will enjoy a guided tour of the city. Lunch on your own in Bologna.We suggest to try Tortellini or fettuccine with Bolognese sauce.
After lunch continue on to Verona.
Arrive into Verona and check in to your hotel. Dinner on your own.
DAY NINE: VERONA
Breakfast at the hotel.
Meet your local guides then depart on a guided walking tour of Verona.
Verona was first an important Roman “colony” city (as evident by its magnificent, still- standing 2100-year-old arena – summer home of the Verona Opera Festival) and continued in that role during subsequent eras and invasions (Goths, Venetians, French, and Austrians have all laid claim at some point in the past). A favorite setting for Shakespeare’s plays (including Romeo and Juliet), Verona, with its charming medieval streets and bridges, is one of Italy’s most attractive cities. Lunch on your own.
Free time on your own.
Rehearsal/sound check at the evening’s performance venue.
Dinner on your own.
Enjoy a performance at the Basilica di San Zeno Maggiore, in conjunction with local choir. Return to the hotel.
DAY TEN: VERONA
Breakfast at the hotel.
Transfer to Venice by coach. Upon arrival meet you guide for a guided walking tour of the city. Venice is one of the most awe-inspiring, romantic, and unique cities ever created. See streets of water, miles of intimate walkways, and all of this topped off by Piazza San Marco, the “living room of Venice,” with the Basilica of San Marco, the campanile (bell tower), and the Doge’s Palace.
Lunch on your own in Venice.
Free time on your own to explore.
Assemble for afternoon mass and Performance at Saint Mark’s Basilica
Return to Verona by coach
Farewell Dinner to celebrate a successful Italy Choir tour. Return to the hotel.
DAY ELEVEN: VERONA → AIRPORT
Breakfast at the hotel.
Check out of the hotel and depart for Venice airport,
Say goodbye to your local Tour Manager and driver and and move through security to your departure gate.
