A religious itinerary that retraces the incredible life of St. Francis, through the places of life and preaching of the Saint of Assisi, from the peaceful silence in the woods that surround the monastery of La Verna, to the foot of the Apennine crests towards Gubbio then to Assisi, Greccio and eventually reach Rome.
Your holiday starts in Rome where you will be met at the airport by our tour ambassador and continues to Florence. After an enchanting visit of the elegant Florence the journey continues with the path “In the footsteps of St. Francis” from the North (La Verna) heading to the South (Rome). You will love this epic route that is not only a religious path but also an amazing discovery of the charming landscapes of Umbria, “the green hart of Italy“, a region characterized by small medieval villages perched among the mountain hills, where traditions and folklore are still kept untouched from centuries.
